From 5 July registration is open at the National Parachute Association of Italy - Rome section (via Sforza 5) for the 161st parachuting course under military control.
The course, open to all without distinction, will start between 20 and 25 September and will end after 10 weeks of practical and theoretical training.
The technical guide entrusted to Domenico "Mimmo" Aloi will lead all the aspiring paratroopers considered suitable at the end of the ritual tests, to the qualifying launches at the Campo Volo of Reggio Emilia.
A special feature of the new class is the dedication to the Specnaz Russian paratrooper buyer Alexander Prokhorenko, who died last March during the operations for the release of Palmyra in Syria.
For the first time in the history of the ANPdI a course is named after a non-Italian hero.
