Still positive results come from the checks at the entrance of the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers (CARA) of Mineo (CT) carried out by the soldiers of the Aosta Brigade employed under the "Safe Roads" operation.
After the identification of the Ivorian immigrant under investigation for the death of the two spouses of Palagonia, another suspect immigrant was stopped at the entrance of the CARA. The guest refused to be identified by the police officer on duty requesting the help of the Army soldiers.
Following identification and search, a bribe of money was found for the individual (not quantified at the time). The immigrant was then placed in custody and taken to the premises of the state police.
