The bilateral training exchanges saw the units perform various joint tactical activities, particularly focused on the urban environment in Castelnuovo del Garda, activities with the use of helicopters of the 4 ° regiment Altair of Bolzano, up to training activities with the reciprocal weapons provided.
The second part of the program was instead developed on the progression in the mountain environment, with ascent to the Col dei Bos and Lagazuoi refuge, also, in the same context, it was possible to visit the trenches of the First World War, an activity much appreciated by the allies transalpine.
Lastly, in the Salorno training area the departments had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and procedures also regarding explosives activities.
In the next month of December, in the framework of the bilateral exchange between the two countries, the 4 ° alpine paratroopers regiment will be in France for a similar activity.
