The "chosen patrol boat" course for the marshals of the 24th "Loyalty" course at the Infantry School in Cesano di Rome began on Monday 18 April and will last six weeks.

The course is developed in three different training modules: the first will enable students to acquire the ability to move and fight individually in a mountain and hilly environment, with daytime and night orienteering activities; the second, developed in Fitness Gym, provides that young people face jumping tests on a round cloth and master the techniques of abseiling, climbing, air bridges and overcoming natural obstacles; in the third, finally, the visitors will train themselves to move and fight following the techniques of the "Combat Patrol".

This phase of the training process of the future platoon commanders will culminate in the continuous exercise "Orsa Maggiore", which will take place in the areas between the towns of Monte Romano, Tolfa, Santa Severa, Furbara, Cesano, Formello and Campagnano, and will be essential to equip students with the ability to plan and conduct ongoing operations in physical and psychological stress, developing autonomous decision-making skills, self-esteem and teamwork.

La Army Non-Official School has the task of training marshals, platoon commanders and qualified marshals professional nurses.

The training program is developed by combining university level teaching with intense sports and gymnastics activities together with a challenging program of military, theoretical and practical activities carried out at home, in areas and structures in the country.
