The Army Chief of Staff, Army Corps General Carmine Masiello, attended the demonstration of the command and control system called “Imperio”, at the department of experimentation and operational integration of Ce.Si.Va.

This system, already used by multiple partner countries and interoperable in a multi-domain manner, represents a tool to support the exercise of command and control, as a process accelerator, during the planning and conduct of operations, in increasingly complex environments.

In detail, the capacitive simulation highlighted the potential of Imperio, in the context of a digitized brigade command post, and the possibilities of integration with other control systems. command and control.

General Masiello highlighted the importance of a rapid, balanced and widespread cultural change, towards effective processes of technological development of the Army, supported by a solid attitude to innovation and an adequate capacity for experimentation: “It is an indispensable, urgent and transversal path to respond to the complexities of the international security scenario, which require an increasingly marked and rapid increase in operational and capacity standards. Technology, leveraging the training of an Army that rests its foundations on lived values, makes us better and capable of our tasks" - concluded the head of EMS.
