Training at the Infantry School for the Marshals of the Guardia di Finanza

The student marshals of the 87 "Cadore 2 °" course of the Inspectors and Superintendents School of the Guardia di Finanza have just completed a two-week training cycle at the Army Infantry School in Cesano di Roma.

The training module saw the 322 students, of which 111 women, engaged in various activities, including combat training in built-up areas, movement techniques in day and night combat, observation, movement inhabited centers, assault techniques, entry and control of buildings, reaction to casual contacts and ambushes, operational swimming and shooting exercises with small arms supplied with the armed force.

The training activity ended with a final exercise in which the marshals fielded all the knowledge acquired during their stay at the School.

This exercise took place in the presence of the inspector for educational institutions of the Guardia di Finanza, general of army corps, who accompanied by the commander of the Infantry School, Brigadier General Massimo Mingiardi and the commander of the School Inspectors and Superintendents of the Guardia di Finanza, Brigadier General Fabrizio Toscano, also visited the Institute's infrastructure and training areas.

The training experience allowed the marshals to integrate and complete their training process and to consolidate the use of the Army Infantry School as a reference institute for the basic and advanced training of military personnel belonging also to other armed forces.
