In Adamello put in security over 90 projected artillery of the first world war

In Germenega, Adamello Natural Park (Val Rendena-Trento), the bomb squads of the 2nd Engineers Regiment of Trento have checked over 90 Italian-made 75 mm shells, dating back to the First World War, which came to light increasingly frequent phenomenon of the retreat of glaciers and snowfields.

From the locality of Spiazzo (TN), the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) operators moved to 2000 meters, thanks to a helicopter made available by the autonomous province of Trento, where they proceeded to secure the war material.

The operation was carried out jointly with the police of the local station, the park guard, the Italian red cross with the coordination of the prefecture of Trento and the command force for defense north of Padua.
