Obtained the amphibious qualification for 58 Army soldiers belonging to the "Serenissima" lagoon regiment, to the 17th "Sforzesca" counter-air artillery regiment and to the 3rd guastatori genius regiment, units of the Italian Army included in the "National Projection Capacity from the Sea "(CNPM).

The 11 supplementary amphibious qualification course lasted four weeks and was divided into two phases.
The first phase took place in the lagoon regiment, where theoretical and practical helicopter training lessons were conducted, such as the descent with the "fast rope" technique and abseiling from the daring tower. The second phase took place in Brindisi on board the San Giusto ship.

In this phase, the Army personnel acquired the techniques for use on board ships, landing craft and amphibious craft (AAV7). Numerous releases have been made from EH-101 helicopters and various landing techniques.

The course ended with a final "LIVEX" exercise consisting of an NEO (non-combat evacuation operation) where the students, having disembarked with amphibious vehicles, carried the evacuated personnel aboard the San Giusto.

Brigadier General Domenico Pace, commander of the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" cavalry brigade, congratulated all the staff for the results achieved before the final activity.

The "Pozzuolo" coordinates the Army units in all activities concerning the CNPM and, together with the Lagunari regiment, is responsible for the selection and release of the amphibious army qualification, an indispensable patent before taking the amphibious qualification course.
