Cleaning the coastline of the Torre Veneri area from debris from the sea and thus safeguarding a precious natural habitat are the main objectives of the operation.
Beached waste is one of the main pollution problems on the coast with a strong impact on the ecosystem.
Turtles, birds and marine mammals can become trapped or die suffocated by the ingestion of waste.
The waste will be collected starting from the sandy shore to the first strip of coastal dunes, the collection will be carried out manually to safeguard the ecosystem and will be organized in such a way as to put in place a real separate collection that will start recycling all the recoverable materials.
