40 family members of the Pinerolo military participate in the BLS course

In recent days at the “Pinerolo” logistic regiment, a course of Basic Life Support (BLS) held by qualified personnel belonging to the Italian Red Cross for the family members of the regiment.

The CRI team of instructors has formed, for free, about 40 family members who have asked to participate in the initiative. The purpose of this training activity was to promote an awareness of first aid, to acquire and apply knowledge related to the treatment of cardiovascular arrest and intervention procedures in emergency situations, in order to guarantee and implement both safety in the workplace, it is the ability to rescue at home. It was also an opportunity for military families to learn about the working environment of their relatives and strengthen the spirit of cohesion that unites families with the Army.

The commander of the logistic regiment, Colonel Marco Di Cristofalo, in thanking the participants said he was extremely happy with the success of the initiative.
