25 ° course of the Selected Reserve

Twenty-one officers, eleven of them women, from the 25 ° course of the Selected Reserve, started in Turin, the second training module at the Command for Training and School of Application.

The course, divided into two modules, aims to give the visitors the knowledge necessary for a correct insertion in the Armed Force in anticipation of any subsequent use in the national territory or in the context of Operational Theaters and the ability to live, move and operate in a mission oriented training scenario.

The officers of the Selected Reserve are professionals coming from civil life who, having a university degree, have developed a skill / professionalism that is among those of interest to the Army to satisfy particular needs.

Once the course has been passed, the officers from the Selected Reserve are employed as "functional specialists" within sectors pertaining to the professionalism possessed and in no case is the transition to permanent service provided.

The Selected Reserve is now an important resource for the Italian Army.
