Twenty-two new sergeant students, belonging to the Italian Army infantry weapon and winners of the twentieth internal competition, crossed the gates of the barracks “MOVMSTen. Ugo Bartolomei ”in Cesano for the frequency of the specialization course.
The course, which lasts fifteen weeks, aims to provide the attenders with adequate professional training to carry out the operational, training and logistical tasks to which they will be called in the departments to which they belong.
In their training, particular attention will be given to physical education, individual combat training, shooting lessons with supplied weapons and the ethical-moral training necessary to build the military identity of all soldiers of the Italian Army.
On the basis of the bilateral agreements between Italy and Lebanon, two sergeants belonging to the Army of the Lebanese republic will take part in the course.
Brigadier General Massimo Mingiardi, commander of the Infantry school, personally welcomed the young non-commissioned officers and in the welcome speech stressed the importance of this formative period at the Institute, as a crucial moment for the rest of their career.

It competes in the training of officers, official students and marshals, and carries out specialization courses for infantry weapon assignments. Moreover, it carries out courses for instructors with high operational value and for special needs the Institute organizes and conducts courses for foreign personnel or belonging to another armed force.
