2 June: Army Officer intervenes to stop a snatcher

Yesterday morning, on the day of the 69th anniversary of the Republic Day, an Army officer, effective at the Army Training and Application School Command, off duty, while he was passing with his car in via della Consolata, chased first by car and then on foot a young man who had just snatched an old woman.

The mugger was stopped and handed over to a law enforcement officer who intervened on the spot and the stolen goods returned to the legitimate owner.
