One hundred and thirty-one officers of the 201st "Example" course today received the rank of lieutenant.
The investiture ceremony took place in the Courtyard of Honor of Palazzo Arsenale, headquarters of the command for Training and Application School, in the presence of the commander, Army Corps General Stefano Mannino and the command line of the basic training courses.
General Mannino, addressing the newly promoted lieutenants, future commanders, urged his young colleagues to give their best, with genuine enthusiasm and generosity “This is a further significant stage in the long and fascinating journey that awaits you. Moving up in rank entails greater responsibilities and duties towards employed personnel and institutions, always set an example, as the name of your course states, never tire of improving, of growing on a human and professional level".
At the end of the basic training process, which lasts five years, the lieutenants of the 201st "Example" course will obtain a master's degree in July and will subsequently be assigned to the various Army units. There Application School of Turin, confirms itself as an educational hub, capable of combining aspects such as respect for traditions, study, teaching innovation and internationalization of studies.
