1 ^ day of Alpine Trophy Ski Championships

With the departure of the platoons this morning from San Candido shortly after the 7 the races of the 67 ^ edition of the Alpine Troops ski championships began. The departments were involved in a movement of more than 23 kilometers with a drop of almost 1.000 meters, during which they also had to take part in shooting tests, time trial, search and rescue of avalanche and slalom.

Meanwhile, the first titles of Italian Army Champion in the giant slalom were awarded on the Porzen di Sesto slope; in the men's field, the victory went to 1st Marshal Nicola Pittino of the 3rd mountain artillery regiment of Tolmezzo, while Giulia Monaco, a student of the non-commissioned officers school of the Army of Viterbo, dominated the women.

Also in the morning, in Dobbiaco, the Nordic ski race was held (15 km for men and 10 km for women in free technique) valid for the assignment, on Friday, of the Friendship and Joint Forces trophies.
