He landed a few minutes ago FOf the Air Force which urgently transported a Sardinian girl of just one day in imminent danger of life from the airport of Cagliari to the Rome airport of Ciampino.
The aircraft, belonging to the 31st Wing of Ciampino, took off from its base on the orders of the Top Situation Room of the Air Force Squad Command following the request of the Prefecture of Cagliari.
After boarding the thermal cradle with the baby in it, the aircraft left for Ciampino, where the small patient was transferred to an ambulance on board the “Bambino Gesù” children's hospital in Rome.
With today's flight 73 are the missions carried out since the beginning of the year by the Flight Departments of the Italian Air Force for emergency medical transport at the request of the Prefectures of the Sardinia region. The 60% of patients transported on these flights is between the ages of 0 and 3 years.
