AM trains crews from Qatar

On Thursday 19 June, at the air base of Al Udeid (Qatar), the first training flight was carried out in favor of a crew of Qatar emiri air force by C130J pilots and specialist instructors belonging to the 46ª Pisa air brigade.

The flight marks the beginning of the practical phase of a training course that the air force carries out in favor of pilots from Qatar. Previously, the training had seen a first phase take place at the "National Training Center" of the 46ª air brigade, a structure where pilots and specialists from the Air Force and foreign armed forces follow theoretical and practical lessons for obtaining qualifications and qualifications on the C-130J and C-27J aircraft, under the guidance of instructors from the crew training center and thanks to the presence of latest generation flight simulators.

The collaboration in the field of training between the two armed forces, the Italian and the Qatari, was sanctioned through the signing of a specific technical agreement between the two countries.
