The award was presented by the local artist, Giuliana Signorini, author of the "Floral Tribute" painting, donated to the school.
It was a day full of sport, with the participation of local authorities, including the sport councilor, young emerging athletes, including the young footballer Bernardeschi, the captain of the women's team of Azzurra Volley, promoted this year in series A.
The recognition, established by the CONI delegation of Florence, is annually attributed to athletes, technicians and sports managers who are protagonists of the season.
The prize, in fact, consists of a painting offered by the Signorini family, a painting painted by his mother Giuliana, in memory of his daughter Francesca, a passionate sportswoman who died prematurely.
The "Douhet" School has qualified as the best sports school in the province of Florence after having added all the victories scores obtained in the 2013 / 2014 school year.
Sporting activity is part of the main activities carried out by the military aeronautical school, sport in fact represents an opportunity for both physical and mental growth, being an activity of aggregation and comparison for the students.
