Oath, Aeronautical Academy: 11th course for officer cadets in fixed firm

On Thursday 28 January, at the Aeronautical Academy of Pozzuoli, the collective oath ceremony of 44 official students in fixed stops (AUFP).

The young Allievi - 29 from the special role of the Weapons, 7 from the Corps of the Aeronautical Engineers special role, 1 from the Corps of the Aeronautical Engineers special role, 5 from the Corps of the Aeronautical Commission special role and 2 from the Aeronautical Health Corps special role - have sworn allegiance Italian Republic in collective form, in front of the flag of the Institute and in the presence of the deputy commander of the Aeronautical Academy, Colonel Gaetano Pennacchio. 

The event, which in compliance with the containment regulations of the pandemic emergency did not allow the participation of parents and guests, was followed in "Première" mode on the YouTube platform of the Italian Air Force.

"My wish for all of you is the commitment to believe in principles such as Loyalty, Respect, Discipline, Honor, and Duty, as have generations of Officers before you. Always be proud of the life choice you have undertaken and be always an example for your future collaborators ". These are the words of col. Pennacchio towards the jurands who, after being incorporated into the Armed Force on November 23, 2020, took the first part of the course at the School of Specialists AM. of Caserta and then continue the training course, starting last December 8, at the Aeronautical Academy.

The training process of the AUFP course consists of two phases, the first, defined as the "military" phase and carried out by all attendees, has the purpose of providing basic military training, providing transversal subjects such as command tasks and functions, of Defense and AOS, military logistics, communication techniques. The second phase, on the other hand, called "professional", differs according to the role and category to which it belongs and has the purpose of providing the knowledge and specific skills useful for guaranteeing subsequent and effective employment in the Departments of the Armed Force.

Attendants carry out the "professional" phase at the Aeronautical Academy, with the exception of students belonging to the aeronautical health corps who, after the first phase, continue the process at thePostgraduate and Training Institute in Aeronautical and Space Medicine (IPAMAS) of Rome; to the body of the aeronautical genius, physical and chemical category, which follow the second phase respectively at the air space control training department (RACSA) and in the aeronautical and aerospace materials technology department of Experimental Flight Center (CSV) of Pratica di Mare; to the body of the aeronautical genius, electronics category (Computer Specialty), who follow this phase at the Automated Information Systems Department (RESIA) of Rome.
