Thai delegation in Rome: agreement for P-180 aircraft supply

Yesterday morning, at a meeting at Palazzo Aeronautica, headquarters of the Italian Air Force in Rome, a delegation from the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) and Piaggio Aero reached an agreement to supply the Asian country with a P-180 aircraft in "aerial photogrammetry" configuration.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General of the Air Team Pasquale Preziosa, the deputy chief of the air staff of the RTAF, air chief marshal Sutthiphan Kritsanakhup, and the sales director of the Piaggio Aereo, lawyer. Francescomaria Tuccillo.

The contract will be signed today during a delegation visit to the Piaggio factory in Villanova d'Albenga (SV).

Yesterday the Thai delegation also visited the 14 ° Stormo and the Pratica di Mare Multicrew Crew Training Center, where the delegation acquired information on the use of the P-180 aircraft within the Air Force and in general in the Defense sector, as well as the training capabilities that Aeronautics could offer to the RTAF.
