Norwegian delegation visiting Cameri

On Tuesday 20 January, at the military airport of Cameri, the program director F-35 of Norway, major general Morten Klever, took place. The foreign authority was accompanied by the director of the 4 Department of the General Secretariat of Defense / National Armaments Directorate, divisional admiral Paolo Treu.

Upon arrival, the delegation was greeted by Inspector General Lucio Bianchi, head of the Multifunctional Aerotactic Aircraft Center of Cameri. He then attended an introductory briefing on the reality of the Ce.Po.VA, held by the head of the Center himself. Brigadier General Giuseppe Lupoli, of the Aeronautical Armaments Directorate of the General Secretariat of Defense, then presented, with a specific briefing, the "Final Assembly and Check Out" (FACO) intended for the assembly of the F35 / Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft.

After a bilateral meeting between the Norwegian delegation and the Italian delegation, the visit continued within the same FACO installation, where the delegation verified the activities under way and noted the progress of the work.

At the end of the visit words were expressed with deep appreciation for the activities carried out and for the results achieved.

The Multipurpose Aircraft Aerospace Center (Ce.Po.VA) was set up in Cameri the 23 July 2012 and placed under the 2 ^ Division of the Logistic Command AM

From Ce.Po.VA depend the 1 ° Aircraft Maintenance Department, the Cameri Airport Command and the Initial Training Group (NIF) for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 program.

Ce.Po.VA, with its employees, is the main engineering, maintenance and logistics center of the Italian Air Force for high-performance "fast jet" aircraft.
