General Lodovisi, in his speech, underlined that "the 46th Air Brigade has worked at its best, in all circumstances, making full use of the resources assigned and very often putting them at the direct disposal of the community, such as in medical transport". Addressing the women and men of the Department, he stressed the importance of the human resource of the Armed Force. "It is you - he said - who combine technology with necessity. New challenges await you: be ready to adapt to them".

General Boi, who leaves the Department after two years of command, in his speech wanted to address the men and women of the Brigade: "You do a complex job, full of unexpected and continuous variables, which requires a truly solid professionalism in all the sectors. But the satisfactions that you receive working under the banner of the 46th are unique and incomparable, in particular from the human point of view. You have achieved the most important objectives not simply by wearing a uniform but by filling it with those ethical principles and moral values that make you worthy belonging to the most decorated Department of the Air Force ".

In turn, General Cazzaniga, recalling that "the 46th is made of the fiber of the Air Force" and that "in addition to being ready in terms of military capability, it is always in direct contact and at the service of the citizen even abroad" , wished to express a thought for those who, under the insignia of the 46th Air Brigade, over the years, "have contributed to the maintenance of peace and security - a precious and fragile legacy of values that are far from obvious. The new commander stressed that this legacy "is difficult to preserve without firm and constant determination; that same determination that you, women and men of the 46th Air Brigade, have always shown and, I am sure, will continue to demonstrate in the future ".
