To the messages of the Head of SMA were added also those of the General Inspector Capo Francesco Langella, Head of the Corps of Aeronautical Engineers, and of the General Inspector Arnaldo D'Orazio, Head of the Corps of Aeronautical Commissariat.
The Corps of Aeronautical Engineers was established the 31 July of the 1923 with Commissioner's Decree No. 1. Currently, the Corps of Aeronautical Engineers is made up of Aeronautical Engineers Officers and performs technical functions related to: the design, construction, fitting out and arming of aeronautical materials of any kind, including the buildings of the Air Force; the testing and maintenance of aeronautical material and of the same buildings of the Air Force; decommits any other technical service relating to the use of military aircraft and exercises technical supervision over the aeronautical material of civil aviation. The Aeronautical Engineering Department presides over the technical and administrative functioning: of the aeronautical construction departments and of the employees of the surveillance offices; of the directorates of the aeronautical domain of the commands of the aerial zone and of the commands of the Air Force; of experimental plants and various establishments. The Corps of Aeronautical Commissariat, established by commission decree n. 3 on 31 July 1923. Currently, the functions of the Corps are established by the Code of the Military Order, which in art. 149 reads as follows: "The Aeronautical Commissariat Corps: performs managerial, inspection, logistic, technical, administrative and accounting functions for cash services, provisioning, clothing and equipment, casemate as well as other ordinary materials; carries out study, research and technical development activities in the sectors of specific interest and performs legal, economic and financial functions; holds positions required by law. The Aeronautical Commissariat Corps presides over the technical and administrative functioning: of the aeronautical commissarial departments, of the air zone commands and of the commands of the Air Force; of various warehouses and factories ”.
