Spartak, a few kilometers north of Donetsk, between the airport and the town of Adviidka. Here passes the front line between the Ukrainian armed forces and the DNR army. Among abandoned industrial sheds and silent mines, the area is at the center of a railway and road junction of great strategic importance. Just behind Spartak passes the highway that connects the east to the west of Ukraine, two worlds separated by weapons and now more distant every day.
In an outpost on the fighting line, we stay two nights under the Ukrainian artillery fire that bombs the positions of the pro-Russian soldiers.
In the total silence of the European media, in spite of the Minsk agreements, the war continues.
