The final phase of a series of contacts between the Italian soldiers of the KFOR mission, the Kosovo hospital pharmacy and the Italian non-profit organization took place yesterday. Perigee which is dedicated to support activities in the post-conflict international areas. They were donated by the non-profit organization Perigee 2800 packages of a drug for the treatment of psoriasis, of which the pharmacies of the hospitals of Kosovo are lacking. The medicines were withdrawn by Ms Arijeta Stanovci, coordinator of hospital pharmacies in Kosovo who will distribute them to the hospitals of the cities of Pristina, Gjakova, Peja, Prizren and Mitrovica.
The success of the donation was possible thanks to the synergy between the Onlus Perigee who donated the medicines, the Interforze Summit Operational Command (COI) of the General Staff Defense which provided for the organization of the transport in Kosovo of medicines with the C-130J aircraft of the Air Force and the Italian contingent of the Multinational Battle Group-West (MNBG-W) of the Kosovo Forces (KFOR) who took the medicines to the Kosovo authorities.

The MNBG-W (Multinational Battle Group-West) is an Italian-led multinational military component that operates in Kosovo as a NATO force under the UN Security Council 1244 resolution that with its CIMIC component provides support projects of the local population in the health, education, infrastructural, administrative and protection sectors of ethnic and religious minorities. Currently at the head of the MNBG-W is Colonel Stefano Imperia, commander of the 32 ° Taurian tank regiment which is the backbone of the command and maneuvering unit of the Multinational Battle Group-West.
