The Combat Service Support Battalion of the Joint Task Force Lebanon, based on the "Folgore" logistic regiment with its transport and supply assets, has traveled over 100.000 km in two months of operational activities as part of the UNIFIL mission in southern Lebanon to ensure supplies, maintenance and transfer of materials, vehicles and personnel to and from Italy.

The logistics unit of the Army, part of the "Folgore" paratroopers brigade, also handled over 110.000 liters of water and 154.000 kg of materials to supply all the Italian bases of the Sector West also carrying out more than 5.500 hours of work to restore the efficiency of the vehicles and equipment.

The repairs, the constant checks of reliability and the planned interventions made it possible to maintain the maximum level of efficiency of the vehicles and materials during the Operational Readiness Inspection, an inspection activity carried out by UN teams and aimed at verifying the readiness and efficiency of the departments employed in UN missions.
