The exercise, carried out on Wednesday in the Italian sector of the base, was aimed at verifying all the procedures foreseen in case of fire and emergency.
An important training contribution
The activity represented a fundamental opportunity for collaboration and standardization between the two contingents to verify and share the best practices in order to effectively deal with similar emergency situations in reality in a complicated and difficult operating and environmental context.
First Parthica operation
The ITNCC / TFA Kuwait was established on October 17 2014 as part of the national "Prima Parthica" mission and the multinational "Inherent Resolve" operation.
The NTCC / TFA guarantees the uniqueness of command and the synergistic and coordinated use of the KC 767A, AMX and Predator aircraft of the Italian Air Force.
The mission of TFA Kuwait is aimed at meeting the needs of in-flight refueling of the coalition aircraft with the 767A KC plane to contribute to the definition of the situation awareness of the coalition through the use of its assets Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) AMX and Predator that produce high quality images analyzed and enhanced by the Intelligence I2MEC (Integrated Italian Multisensor Exploitation Cell) Intelligence cell in favor of the Coalition.
