The maneuvering battalion of the Multinational Battle Group West conducted an evacuation drill of personnel belonging to the JRD-South (Joint Regional Detachment). The battalion, upon specific request for support, formulated by the team of the Field House of the Mamusa / Mamusha district, in the area of responsibility of the MNBG-W, activated the QRF (Quick Reaction Force), promptly reaching the position to evacuate the personnel in a safe area. This type of exercise is part of the wider verification activity between units of the Kosovo - Force to consolidate the capabilities and operational procedures in place.
The Multinational Battle Group West, based on the 185th “Folgore” parachute artillery regiment, made up of Italian, Slovenian, Austrian and Moldovan units, carries out continuous training activities aimed at maintaining the high standards of reactivity and operational readiness required of the KFOR forces.
"Enduring Commitment" is the motto of the KFOR Units that guarantee the freedom of movement of the citizens of Kosovo, preserving a safe and protected environment respecting the pluralism of the ethnic groups and religions, as established by the UN resolution 1244.
