In recent days, they came to visit Camp Village Italy the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj and the Deputy Minister of Defense of North Macedonia Tiron Jajaga, to greet the military contingents of the two countries included in the regional command west (RC-W).

The authorities, welcomed by the RC-W Commander Colonel Gabriele Vacca, with whom they had a brief office call, saluted the War Flag of the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment, a department currently leading the regional command west of KFOR, placing his signature on the roll of honour.

During the visit, they each met the national contingent of their country, sending their best wishes to the military men in view of the new year and thanks for their tireless commitment to carrying out the mission.

Also present at President Begaj's visit were the ambassador of Albania to Kosovo Petrit Malaj and the chief of staff of the Albanian Defense Major General Arben Kingji.

Il regional command west of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, contributes to maintaining a safe and secure environment, as well as freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo.
