A project concluded today in the municipality of Decan/Decani Civil and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) which saw the Italian soldiers of the regional command West (RC-W) based on the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment, in the donation of interactive multimedia whiteboards, laptops and other electronic devices to four high schools.

Civil and military authorities were present at the delivery ceremony, including the commander of the Western regional command, Colonel Gabriele Vacca, together with the councilor for education and municipal authorities.

The project, born from the fruitful collaboration between the CIMIC cell of RC-W and the Education Councilor of Decan/Decani, aims to strengthen the training process for students, equipping school facilities with modern technologies and responsive to the population's educational needs.

The donation is part of the numerous activities to support the development of local institutions that the Italian contingent conducts on a semi-monthly basis.

The Italian contingent of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, contributes to maintaining a safe and secure environment, as well as freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo, at the same time promoting beneficial activities under the direction of the Joint Forces top operational command.
