The commander of KFOR visits the Multinational Battle Group West

The commander of KFOR, Major General Salvatore Cuoci arrived on an official visit at the base of "Villaggio Italia" where he was welcomed by the commander of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W), based on the 3rd mountain artillery regiment of the brigade alpine Julia.

General Cuoci during the meeting with the Italian military and international staff wanted to express his satisfaction with the results achieved, highlighting how the work done by men and women belonging to the MNBG-W is always highly appreciated by the Institutions and from the population of Kosovo.

The military forces of Austria, Italy, Moldova and Slovenia constitute the command and multinational battalion of the Multinational Battle Group West, an Italian leader with duties of vigilance and protection of the Monastery of Decane as first responder (first responsible), control of freedom of movement in the western sector of Kosovo and implementation of CIMIC projects (Civil and Military Cooperation) aimed at improving the usefulness of the services available to the Kosovar population, in particular in the field of health and educational training and joint patrols with the Kosovar police and synchronized with the Serbian Armed Forces near the administrative boundary line between Kosovo and Serbia (Administrative Boundary line) to prevent illegal or violent activities.
