The Italian military train the Lebanese presidential guard

Today it ended, with the final ceremony for the presentation of the participation certificates held at the training center of As Samayah, the 2 ° of 12 update cycles on techniques and procedures adopted by infantry platoons, organized in favor of elements of the Lebanese armed forces belonging to the presidential guard.

Two weeks of course, during which fourteen Italian Army instructors, divided into three teams, took turns in training activities illustrating the fundamental concepts that govern the activity of "observation", the execution of check point fixed and mobile and the Military Combat Method with reference to parades, percussion and weapon retention procedures.

In particular, in the first phase of the training the students were provided with the basics of choosing, setting up and operating hidden observation posts, estimating distances and planning an observation mission, while in the second the focus was on the handling of weapons and the procedures to be followed in the organization and execution of the check point.

Ample space has been devoted to practical exercises: shooting exercises in polygons and the creation of specific scenarios, have allowed students to put into practice what they have learned in the theoretical part on the procedures, materials and techniques used.
