In recent days, at the "Idriss Farah Abaneh" National Police Academy in Djibouti, the certificate delivery ceremony took place to the 39 students of the National Police and the Djiboutian Gendarmerie, who successfully completed the first training cycle of the 20 ^ edition of the Italian Mission of the Carabinieri (MIADIT - Bilateral Training Mission of the Somali and Djiboutian Police Forces).
The Djiboutian authorities have highlighted the very high professional value represented by the Carabinieri and the quality of the courses carried out to train and consolidate the technical-operational capabilities of the Djiboutian police forces.
In fact, the activities increased the technical-professional background of the attendees who benefited from the competence and experience of the Italian instructors.
The training cycle included courses dedicated to various topics, including “Human Rights and Judicial Police Techniques for female personnel”, useful for improving the investigative approach towards women victims of crimes and gender violence.
The MIADIT 20 activity will continue with courses scheduled in the spring, which will allow us to improve the operational capabilities of the National Police and the Djiboutian Gendarmerie.
