Games as a gift for the little guests of two Hungarian orphanages. This is the initiative of the Italian contingent deployed in Hungary, as part of the NATO eVA Operation (enhanced Vigilance Activity).

Christmas, with its spirit of generosity, manifests itself once again through a gesture of solidarity on the part of the Italian paratroopers who brought various games as gifts to the children of two structures: one in Bakonyoszlak which hosts around 40 children and a family home of Veszprém which welcomes a dozen young people.

The commitment and collaboration between the various Italian, American and Croatian military components made this donation possible, realized through voluntary fundraising.

The commander of the Italian contingent, Lieutenant Colonel Salvatore Sotgiu, underlined the importance of this gesture of solidarity, highlighting how a tangible sign of friendship and union between the different Nations involved in the Operation can not only strengthen the ties with the partners of the battle group, but also bring hope and comfort to the less fortunate.

The Italian contingent, with a strength of approximately 260 units, contributes, together with the Hungarian, Croatian and American Armed Forces, to the consolidation of the operational capabilities of the international structures called upon to guarantee deterrence on the territory in defense of potential threats in the Euro-Atlantic spaces.
