Bulgaria: Woodland Freedom 23 exercise concluded

It ended in recent days Woodland Freedom 23, a company-level exercise, aimed at training the commanders and soldiers who make up the Multinational Battle Group Bulgaria (MNBG BGR).

The exercise allowed the verification of the correct use of NATO procedures both during the planning process of the activity and during its conduct, with operations such as the infiltration of foot forces, day and night movements, observation and acquisition of objectives and control of air corridors.

La Woodland Freedom took place in a wooded area within the Novo Selo training area, particularly suitable for carrying out operational activities for the control and monitoring of areas.

During the training, an anti-aircraft artillery section, an Italian anti-tank platoon, rifle teams from the Albanian contingent with close defense tasks and Italian and US infantry units were used, supported by a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Italian.
