In recent days it took place, as part of the activities of Civil and Military Cooperation carried out by the Italian military in Afghanistan, an important donation of foodstuffs and a motorized wheelchair to the Pir Herat Charity Foundation (PHF), an association that deals with disabilities since the 2009.
The donation comes from an initiative of theInstitute for Research Information Defense (ISTRID), represented by dr. Roberto Faccani arrived in Afghanistan for a series of activities in favor of local institutions.
La Civil and Military Cooperation of TAACW coordinated the donation activities and the transfer of materials from Italy to Afghanistan.
Food and wheelchairs represent an important aid for the association that in addition to hosting people with various disabilities helps families with people suffering from disabling diseases.
The delivery was made to Camp Arena, in the presence of the commander of the TAAC-W (Train Advise Assist Command West) Brigadier General Gianpaolo Mirra, by dr. Roberto Faccani to the director of the center Mr. Abdul Ali Barakzai and to the deputy director Ms. Sana Mohseni Yaqeen Ali.
