In the last days of December, at the base Villaggio Italia in Kosovo, a training cycle was held on crowd control procedures and public order management in urban environments, called Crowd and Riot Control (CRC).

The interoperability between the various multinational components of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), the training and the control on the different technical-tactical procedures for the consolidation of the operative capacities were the objectives of the training conducted by the MNBG-W, with Italian leadership, currently based on 32 ° wagon regiment.

The activity focused on maximum realism and saw Italian, Moldovan and Austrian soldiers alternate in the roles - military of KFOR and "troublemakers" - thus verifying the level of training achieved in the perspective of an ever greater multinational harmony. The operational efficiency, which is achieved through constant training and amalgamation between the various components, is an important task of KFOR, and in particular of the MNBG-W which, in its area of competence, must guarantee freedom of movement, ensure the security and stability and safeguard the protection of the Decane monastery for which he is primarily responsible (first responder).

The NATO operation, called "Joint Enterprise", is currently attended by 4000 soldiers from 30 Countries, of which 550 Italians organized on a Multinational Battle Group a Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) of the Carabinieri and a Joint Regional Detachment (JRD), all with Italian leadership.
