Until March 17, the unit will take part in the Souda Bay in the ARIADNE 23 multinational maritime exercise organized by the Hellenic Navy and developed by simulating a crisis scenario with a multidimensional and asymmetric threat in the underwater environment.
Engage in the exercise, acting as Flagship of SNMCMG2, the Turkish supply unit Gungor Durmus, the Turkish minesweeper Enez, the Dutch minesweeper Makkum, the Spanish minesweeper Tajo and other 6 units of the Hellenic Navy.
In the coming weeks Ship Numana, will continue to operate in the Aegean Sea and in the Central Mediterranean in synergy with allied units in order to ensure the safety of sea lines of communications (SLOC) of the Mediterranean and safe access to ports.
