MBDA has been awarded a contract with the Emirates Navy for an additional supply of anti-ship missiles Mars MK2 / N.
This agreement follows that signed in February 2009 for the supply of missiles Mars.
Each multi-role fast combat vessel will be equipped with four launchers for the Mars able to hit targets at distances greater than 30 km, with engagement fire-and-forget, grazing water profile and use of inertial guidance on cruising and final active radar.
