On the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey upgrades are underway under the United States Marine Corps which should improve the operational readiness and reliability of the fleet.

Il Bell Boeing Joint Program Office received a variation of $ 69.668.099 on a contract previously awarded for the modification of three MV-22s within the V-22 program Common Configuration-Readiness and Modernization (CC-RAM).

Last week the first MV-22 on which the work will be carried out arrived at the Boeing plant in Philadelphia where most of the work will be completed. The remainder will take place at the Bell facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

The remaining two aircraft will be sent within the next year.

The activity will reduce the different variants of the MV-22 fleet with the official passage from the block "B" to the block "C".
