Leonardo: contract for 32 TH-73A helicopters from the US Department of Defense

Leonardo, through AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corp., was awarded a contract worth USD 176.472.608 from the U.S. Department of Defense for the production and delivery of 32 TH-73A helicopters, together with an initial package of spare parts, support. and dedicated equipment as well as training services for pilots and maintenance technicians. This contract, covered with Fiscal Year 2020 funds allocated to the US Navy, was awarded following a tender. The production activities will mainly be carried out at the Leonardo factory in Philadelphia and will be completed in October 2021.
