Lithuania: the chief president of non-commissioned officers, graduates and troops attends a conference with counterparts in the NATO area

The chief president of the non-commissioned officers, graduates and troops for the Air Force, 1st lieutenant Giuseppe Giannetti, accompanied by lieutenant Giuseppe Laezza, in force at the NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance Force HQ from Sigonella, took part in the "NATO and Allies Air Forces CSEL Conference" from 1 to 3 March last, in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania.

The joint CSEL (Command Senior Enlisted Leaders) of the United States, Canada, Denmark, Belgium, United Kingdom, Greece, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and Romania took part in the event, organized by the Lithuanian Air Force, and it represented a fruitful moment of comparison and exchange of experiences between different realities within the NATO Area.

During the meeting, the participants from the various nations discussed issues of great importance, such as the training and professional development of non-managerial staff, also in relation to the challenges imposed by the international and security scenario.

As part of the session dedicated to national perspectives, 1st Lieutenant Giannetti held a briefing illustrative, in particular, on the dynamics relating to training in the Air Force. At the same time, a session dedicated to NATO articulations was held, which was also attended by Lieutenant Laezza, with a debate on the opportunities for professional development within the Atlantic Alliance.

The comparison and experiences with the representatives of the various participating countries was extremely constructive and useful also with a view to increasing awareness of the potential of the President also at national level.
