The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, visited yesterday morning, together with the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto, the Air Force Museum of Vigna di Valle, recently renovated and inaugurated on 16 June.
The president and the minister were welcomed by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. s. to. Luca Goretti.
The Museum represents the place where aviation activity began in Italy. In the sixties, the base was redeveloped and transformed into Sports Center and Historic Aircraft Collection Centre and in 1977 it officially became Historical Museum.
The Museum has the task of disseminating aeronautical culture, the history and traditions of the Armed Forces in all its progressive evolutions.
