"A tree for a child" in Poggio Renatico

24/06/15

On the occasion of the International Day of 29 in May, the parents of the children born in the 2013 and in the 2014 by personnel in force at the base of Poggio Renatico, were given the consigning certificate of the association between their child and one of the 60 plants buried in the base with the project "A tree for a child".

Taking its cue from the 113 / 92 law, as a result of which the Municipalities plant a tree for each child born the previous year on their territory, the staff of the Poggio Renatico base decided to follow its principle by launching the initiative "A tree for a child ", planting plants donated for this purpose by the Emilia Romagna Region and the State Forestry Corps within the military grounds.

On each tree, as proof of the link with the newborns, a plate with the name and surname of the child to whom the plant was associated.
