Finished the 56 ° course SOR employees

Twenty-nine Military Air Force attendees have completed the 56 course "Air Department Operating Officer" at the Aerocooperation School.

Led by personnel of the Aerocooperation School and by officers and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces departments, the course provided the notions necessary for the management, in the Operating Rooms, of the information flows in air missions and the coordination of support activities.

The residential activity, subjected to a constant process of evaluation and updating in order to increase the training content, was enhanced by some cognitive-instructional visits at the ReGISCC (Management and Innovation Command and Control Systems Department) of Pratica di Mare (RM ), the COA (Air Operations Command) of Poggio Renatico (FE) and the 51st Wing of Istrana (TV).

The School of Aerocooperation is the military interforces institute specialized training and technical-operational value in the field of interpretation of remote sensing images (aerial and satellite) and in that of aeroterrestrial and aeronaval cooperation. For the training and qualification of Advanced Air Controllers, the School has also recently obtained NATO certification.

The courses held at the School of Aerocooperation are open not only to military personnel of the Armed Forces, but also to personnel outside the Defense Administration and military personnel of NATO and countries participating in the international Partnership for Peace program (PfP - Partnership for Peace), subject to the authorization of the Defense Staff.
