Nine soldiers of which 6 of the Italian Air Force, 2 of the Italian Navy and 1 of the Italian Army have obtained, at the Aerocooperation School, the qualification of RADAR Image Analyst, at the end of the 10 ° RIA Course (RADAR Imagery Analyst) .

In the four weeks of the course, the notions useful for obtaining an overview of the "RADAR Imaging" were provided to the users and to acquire the necessary skills to analyze the information content coming from the sensor for photointerpretation purposes.

The RIA course represents the conclusion of the qualification process in the field of operational remote sensing, entirely carried out at the Aerocooperation School, started with the RSO (Remote Sensing Operator) course and continued with the RSI (Remote Sensing Interpreter) and RSMA (Remote Sensing Military Analyst).

The School of Aerocooperation is the joint military institute of specialized training with a technical-operational value in the field of interpretation of remote sensing images (aerial and satellite) and in that of air-land and air-naval cooperation. For the training and qualification of Forward Air Controllers, the commander of the School is the “National Certification Authority” and the training / training process has been recognized and certified by NATO.
