Serbia, national mourning for helicopter crash: AOS condolences

On the day when the national mourning was proclaimed in Serbia following the plane crash last Friday, in which a military helicopter crashed causing the death of seven people, the Air Force expresses deep condolences to the families of the victims and proximity to the Serbian Air Force.

The tragic event, which occurred during the medical transport of a newborn in need of urgent medical treatment, has profoundly affected all the personnel of the Air Force as it is the same service, that of emergency medical transport of people in imminent danger of life , which the Armed Force continuously assures in Italy with its planes and helicopters.

"We are very saddened by what happened in Serbia," said the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Pasquale Preziosa aerial team general. "We feel very close to all those who have been affected by this tragedy, they are delicate missions that allow us to save many lives, carried out by crews of professionals who operate in the majority of cases in the shadow of the floodlights".
