School of Aerocooperation: terminated 2 ° joint targeting course

Last Friday, the 2 "Joint Targeting" course was concluded at the Guidonia Aerocooperation School (RM), which was attended by nineteen visitors, officers and non-commissioned officers belonging to the Army, Navy and Air Force.

The course, in English, focused on fundamental knowledge and skills for Staff personnel destined for employment in Joint Support Elements for the Joint Force Commander (Commander of the forces in operation) in the management of the "Targeting cycle" (Information collection and management of a goal).

The course responds to the training needs required by the new doctrines, NATO and national, relating to the conduct of military operations.

The School of Aerocooperation is the military interforces institute specialized training and technical-operational value in the field of interpretation of remote sensing images (aerial and satellite) and in that of aeroterrestrial and aeronaval cooperation. For the training and qualification of Advanced Air Controllers, the School has also recently obtained NATO certification.

The courses of the Aerocooperation School are open not only to the military personnel of the Armed Forces, but also to personnel external to the Defense administration and to the military personnel of NATO and of the countries participating in the international Partnership for Peace program (PfP - Partnership for Peace), subject to authorization from the Defense General Staff.
