Following the activation by the Poggio Renatico (FE) Air Operations Command, the helicopter took off from the Decimomannu air base at 12: 00 carrying a team of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps to reach the area of operations in the area of Monte Mamone - Bitti (NU).
Once the two technicians were reached and rescued, the crew headed to the Bitti sports field where the rescue team landed.
