During the ceremony, held in the splendid baroque setting of the Church of Ognissanti in Florence, His Excellency Msgr. Marcianò addressed the young students directly, emphasizing the importance of awareness in receiving this sacrament and recalling how Confirmation represents "the seal of the Spirit or an indelible stamp that no one will ever be able to erase", finally highlighting the importance of education of young people to spiritual values.
At the end of the celebration, the commander of the School, Colonel Claudio Icardi, thanked Msgr. Marcianò for his heartfelt closeness to the School and his parents for wanting to share a spiritual and intimate moment with all the students and staff of the permanent framework, proof of the strong bonds of belonging and affection that have made the Douhet School "a great family ".
